Hanoi: A City of History, Culture, and Charm ( Part.1 )


Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam, It is a bustling metropolis with a rich past, and it is home to some of the most important landmarks in Vietnamese history. Let’s see some pins for your journey map if you are interesting in culture and history.


The first popular place to visit in Vietnam is Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the resting place of President Ho Chi Minh located in the center of Ba Dinh Square

President Ho Chi Minh stayed from 1951 until his death in 1969, read the Declaration of Independence on 2 September 1945, establishing the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.

An other popular tourist attractions in Hanoi is Hoan Kiem Lake.

And many other interesting place to visit around the city: Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, The citadel is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the most important historical sites in Vietnam. It is a vast complex, covering an area of over 18,000 hectares (45,000 acres). The main features of the citadel include the Forbidden Purple City, the Temple of Literature, and the Flag Tower.

You can also visit a free model art outdoor display: Hanoi Ceramic mosaic mural, it is a ceramic mosaic mural along the walls of the Red River dike system in the city of Hanoi, northern Vietnam. It is the largest ceramic mosaic in the world, according to Guinness World Records. It is a beautiful and unique work of art that showcases the rich history and culture of Vietnam.

Among many kinds of performance water puppet show is still a very special tradidtional show, Water puppetry, also known as Thủy chung, is a traditional Vietnamese art form that originated in the Red River Delta. It is a type of puppetry that is performed on a shallow pool of water. The puppets are made of wood and are controlled by puppeteers who are hidden beneath the water. Water puppetry is a very old art form, and there is evidence that it has been practiced in Vietnam for over 1,000 years. The earliest records of water puppetry date back to the 11th century.


The most famous water puppet theater in Hanoi is the Thang Long Water Puppet Theater. This theater was founded in 1969, and it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Hanoi.
